21. Hell Fest
A bunch of buddies are thrilled as they tour Hell Fest, a brand-new amusement park. They must, however, attempt to escape and flee before it is too late as a strange person comes and begins murdering guests.
22. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
The Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, Jack Skellington (voiced by Chris Sarandon), grows weary of the celebration for which the community prepares all year.
When he accidently finds himself in Christmas Town, he plans to take over the celebration and capture Santa. But Jack doesn’t quite get the holiday right; during his Christmas, there are skeleton reindeer and presents made out of shrunken skulls.

23. Invisible Sister (2015)
The actresses Rowan Blanchard and Paris Berelc play sisters who are very unlike to one another.
As a result of Cleo’s (Blachard) science experiment, Molly, played by Paris, unintentionally begins to become invisible. Cleo and her pals attempt to reverse the process before midnight, when Molly becomes permanently invisible.
24. Hereditary
The Graham family unexpectedly learns that unusual and inexplicable things happen to them after a horrific death.
They quickly learn that their family has a lot more secrets concealed than they first suspected when trying to determine the cause.
25. Twitches (2005)
This is one of the timeless Halloween films from Disney.
These twin sisters, played by Tia and Tamera Mowry, who are also recognized for their work in Sister, Sister, were split up after their home country was overrun by the darkness.
The two meet on their 21st birthdays and discover they have magical abilities. They attempt to discover their true selves while working together to restore their world before it is too late.
26. Would You Rather (2012)
The traditional sleepover game is transformed into a nightmare in this movie.
Iris (Brittany Snow’s character) and seven other individuals find themselves stranded in a spooky home. There, a madman coerces them into playing a cruel game in exchange for a sizable sum of money, but the game becomes increasingly bizarre as the night go on.
27. ParaNorman (2012)
Norman is more at ease among ghosts than he is with the living due to his capacity to communicate with the dead.

30. Coraline (2009)
The family of Coraline (Dakota Fanning) relocates from Michigan to Oregon, where her parents’ careers require them to spend much of the time at home alone.
Coraline learns about the Other World after getting a weird doll from one of her new neighbors. This world contains an Other Mother and Other Father who are considerably more attentive to Coraline than her own parents are.
Coraline quickly realizes that things are not as they appear and makes an effort to return home and find her actual parents.
31. Zombieland (2009)
In the not too distant future, the mad cow illness mutates into the crazy human sickness, turning all those who contract it into zombies.
Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) crosses the nation with Tallahassee in an effort to get home in the hopes of seeing his parents (Woody Harrelson).
They encounter Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) along the way, who complicate their plans as they attempt to live in this strange new world they refer to as Zombieland.
32. Battle Royale (2000)
Imagine on a class field trip and then being dropped off on an island where you all have to kill each other in order to live.
Welcome to the Battle Royale universe.
Battle Royale was initially published in Japan in 1999, long before The Hunger Games was even a novel. It was then converted into a film, which, despite backlash over children killing one another for survival, eventually found its way to the United States and became a hit horror picture.
33. A Quiet Place (2018)
A Quiet Place, written and directed by John Krasinski, is set in 2020 after a mystery species that hunts people based on sound has wiped off the majority of the planet’s inhabitants.
By keeping quiet, Lee Abott (Krasinski) and his wife Evelyn (Emily Blunt) attempt to safeguard their family.
The family must attempt to discover a means to survive or risk being slaughtered by the unidentified monsters that would kill them at any costs as a result of a sequence of events.
34. Hotel Transylvania (2012)
In Transylvania, Mavis (Selena Gomez) and her father Dracula (Adam Sandler) own and operate a five-star hotel exclusively for monsters.
Mavis’s father sends zombies after her when she makes her initial forays into the realm of humans to terrify her and prevent her from returning.
Along the way, human Jonathan (Andy Samberg) wanders into the hotel and must attempt to blend in, but Dracula discovers him and tries to eject him.
Dracula tries to prevent the two from getting together after realizing that the human and his vampire daughter have fallen in love out of concern that the human would never be able to love his daughter.
35. Repo! The Genetic Opera
Any fan of music who is yearning for a crossover between the two genres will adore this chaotic and gruesome movie.
36. Scream (1996)
There are already four films in the Scream franchise, but the first Scream is a beloved Halloween staple.
In this film, the Ghostface murderer, who resurfaces in the following films, commits its first murders on youngsters living in a tiny village.
A girl and her pals go looking for him, but nobody makes it back.
37. Hocus Pocus (1993)
Three witches (played by Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimy) reappear in Salem, Massachusetts in the 17th century, 300 years after they were executed for their spellcraft.
The three children who unintentionally brought the witches back to life are doing all in their power to prevent them from bringing Salem back to how it was before they were alive in order to maintain their immortality.
This outrageous comedy will make your Halloween a blast since it has witches, black cats, and lots of chuckles.
38. Carrie (2013)
The movie starring Chloe Grace Moretz looks fantastic and spooky. The meanest of nasty girls confront Chloe’s character Carrie, an outsider. But she uses her telepathic abilities to get retribution.
39. Crawl
A little girl visits her father during a hurricane, but she quickly finds herself trying to live after a pack of alligators prevents them from fleeing.
40. The Craft (1996)
A new student at a Catholic prep high school befriends three misfit adolescent witches, and they soon all cast spells and curses against anyone who even mildly irritates them.
It reminds me of a creepier Mean Girls.
41. Casper (1995)
Without Casper, no list of Halloween movies is complete.
A paranormal investigator and his daughter, Kat, move into an abandoned home to get rid of the ghosts frightening it for a selfish heiress who wants to bulldoze the mansion in quest of hidden riches, according to the plot of the film.
The movie is really about Kat and Casper the Friendly Ghost’s lovely friendship as they support one another in coming to grips with catastrophes in their separate lives, as anybody who loves this classic knows.

42. Get Out (2017)
Chris is a little concerned about how his girlfriend’s parents would react when they learn that their daughter is seeing a black guy.
Chris quickly understands he shouldn’t have simply been anxious about meeting this family; he should have been dead afraid, despite the fact that her family first comes off as absolutely cool and courteous.
A dangerous family secret might endanger Chris’ life.
This film isn’t just spooky as hell; it also makes a pertinent statement on racial relations in modern America.
43. Beetlejuice (1988)
The spirits of Adam and Barbara Maitland are notified that they must stay in their home for 150 years after they away in a car accident. This is okay up to the point when their home is sold to a family they despise.
The yuppie Deetz family is not welcome in the Maitlands’ lovely home, which they adore. Since Adam and Barbara aren’t frightening enough ghosts on their own, the pair employs freelance bio-exorcist Beetle Juice to frighten the Deetzes away. However, Beetle Juice’s objective is to marry the Deetzes’ daughter, Lydia, in order to return to the living world.
44. Halloween (1978)
When viewing Halloween, you might want to keep the lights on because it’s quite spooky! It concerns a murderer who murdered his younger brother and sister and was thus institutionalized. But after that, he runs away and begins to pursue someone. told you it was horrible!
45. Ghostbusters (2016)
How can you improve on a Halloween movie like Ghostbusters, which is already very good?
Consider a remake in which the traditionally masculine gang is made up of a group of fierce women and Chris Hemsworth plays the part of the ditzy Thor as their sidekick. Please say yassss.
46. The Addams Family (1991)
They’re spooky and terrifying all at once, making them the ideal Halloween decorations!
Gomez Addams, the family patriarch, admits to his attorney Tully that he hasn’t spoken to his brother Fester in a long time. Her son acts as Fester in an effort to get into the Addams family’s vault after a loan shark demands that Tully pay her.
The Fester impersonator finds it hard to blend in with the Addams, though. Dark magic is prevalent in their house, and the Addams have a difficult time adjusting to life outside of it after being evicted.
If Christina Ricci’s portrayal of the troubled Addams daughter, Wednesday, doesn’t frighten you, then the hand-shaped Thing most certainly will!
47. Warm Bodies (2013)
The ideal Halloween film for hopeless romantics is Warm Bodies!
It stars JLaw’s ex, Nicholas Hoult, as an unique zombie who saves a live girl instead of devouring her, and their burgeoning romance just might be what their post-apocalyptic world needs to get some life back!

48. The Possession (2012)
A little girl purchases an ancient antique box at a garage sale, and then some very strange things start to happen. It comes out that the box is inhabited by a spirit.
49. Corpse Bride (2005)
The Corpse Bride, a skeleton woman who also happens to be dead, finds up being married to the youthful (and alive!) Victor Van Dort (the voice of Johnny Depp), instead of his chosen bride-to-be.
Now Victor must decide between Victoria, his former fiancée, and his new Corpse Bride. Oh, the tension!
50. Suspiria (2018)
Dakota Johnson plays Susie Bannon, an American dancer who joins a prominent dance troupe in Germany in this adaptation of the 1977 horror classic.
She quickly learns, though, that witches who manage the institution have their own evil schemes for the kids.
51. Ghostbusters (1984)
You’re going to call who? How about three parapsychologists (ghost scientists) who founded a New York ghost-hunting company to get rid of all the spooks in Manhattan?
When Ego, Ray, and Peter lose their university research funds, they form Ghostbusters and soon find themselves looking into the possession and kidnapping of a woman who Peter had planned to go on a date with.
It turns out that ghosts are more common in New York than people realize.
Before purchasing the DVD of the all-female remake, Halloween is the ideal time to catch up on the original.
52. Fun Size (2012)
Wren, who is essentially having the worst Halloween ever, is portrayed by Victoria Justice. She can’t wait to attend her crush’s Halloween party, but she also needs to watch her younger brother.
When he disappears, things start to become worse. Will she permanently lose both her crush and her brother? To discover out, you’ll have to watch.
53. The Conjuring (2013)
When a scary movie is based on a genuine story, it becomes much more unsettling. Based on actual investigations conducted by renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, this one.
When increasingly bizarre things start occurring to the Perron family in The Conjuring, they move into a very eerie-looking mansion in Rhode Island (which should have been a dead giveaway that it was haunted, people). The Perrons ask the Warrens to look into their tormentor out of desperation.
What they discover could only exist in your worst nightmares!
54. Edward Scissorhands (1990)
An inventor passes away before he can complete his greatest creation, Edward, a perfect human.
With metal scissors serving as hands, Edward is abandoned within a castle on top of a hill. When Peg, a loving woman, finds Edward and takes him into her house, Edward’s life is forever changed.
Although he has a kind, loving nature and is first accepted, his scissor hands cause him to become an outcast, especially once he starts to fall in love with Peg’s daughter.
This is the Halloween movie you should see if you want to cry rather than shout in terror.
