Early in her career, Katy worked for New York-based stations including News 12 Brooklyn and Fox 5 New York. She was bound for success. She was a Storm Chaser for The Weather Channel before joining NBC in 2009 as a news correspondent and broadcast journalist. 2017 saw the publication of Katy Tur’s debut book, Unbelievable: My Front-Row Seat To The Craziest Campaign In American History, in which she discussed her experiences covering the 2016 presidential election. She reportedly makes $1.3 million annually.
Amy Robach – $1.4 Million
Before starting her job at WTTG in Washington, Amy Robach, a pageant girl, finished as the fourth runner-up at the Miss Georgia pageant in 1994. Later, in 2003, she signed with NBC News. During his time at NBC, Robach co-anchored the weekend edition of Today after serving as an anchor for Good Morning America for two hours each morning. Amy and David Muir have been the co-anchors of 20/20 since May 2018. She makes an incredible $1.4 million a year.
Savannah Guthrie – $2 Million
Journalist Savannah Guthrie, who was born in Australia, began her career as an attorney. She joined NBC News in 2007 and started working as a legal expert and reporter. She gained notoriety for covering prominent court cases nationwide and worked as a White House reporter from 2008 to 2011. She joined Matt Lauer, Natalie Morales, and Al Roker as a co-anchor on The Today Show. Her yearly compensation is $2 million.
Nancy O’Dell – $2 Million
Nancy, a former Miss South Carolina and competitor in beauty pageants, received a degree from Clemson and began her reporting career in front of the cameras in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She worked for WDPE-news TV’s department as a reporter and anchor. She progressed via neighborhood radio stations in Miami and Charleston on her way to Access Hollywood, where she hosted from 1996 until 2009. Nancy may currently be seen on Entertainment Tonight as a special correspondent. Her yearly income is reportedly $2 million.
Elizabeth Vargas – $3 Million
As the host of ABC’s 20/20, Elizabeth Vargas has established a name for herself. Most of ABC News’ specials are shown during this program, which serves as the network’s newsmagazine. She served as an anchor for World News Tonight prior to her position at ABC. She began her career with the Chicago-based CBS station WBBM-TV. Phyllis McGrady, senior vice president of ABC, stated that Vargas was one of the most adaptable performers she had ever worked with while at WBBM-TV. Vargas’ career was begun by this comment, which paved the path for her to join 20/20. Currently, she earns $3 million a year!
