The majority of the time, you can tell the difference between someone who is going through the motions or acting out of obligation and someone who truly wants to be there (unless they’re a superb actress!). The same is true in relationships; you can usually tell when someone isn’t feeling the same way by the way they act.
He may just be with you because he feels compelled to if he acts uninterested in your life, looks preoccupied while he is with you, and doesn’t listen to what you have to say.
In other words, despite the fact that he is no longer happy, he is unwilling to end things with you because he is unsure of how to do so or whether he is ready to do so. Everyone has bad days and gets sidetracked occasionally, but when it becomes his constant motion, it becomes a problem.
1. You Rarely Spend Nights Together Anymore
Most couples depend heavily on their ability to spend the night together. Even if you are merely sleeping together, the time you spend alone in bed together helps to strengthen your relationship.
These are the times that solidify your bond and help you get to know one another better to the point where you can say you’re genuinely in love.
He might not want to spend the night with you if he’s only there for the low-key activities you do during the day. This could be because he doesn’t want to become physical and develop your connection.
That could be the case even if he isn’t aware that he wants to go. Every relationship has its rough spots, but in the end (pun intended), he should want to be around you when it counts.
