17. Practice good etiquette at the table.
Before he begins to eat, he always checks to see if everyone’s plates are stuffed. He doesn’t chew or chat with his mouth open while doing either.
A gentleman knows how to conduct himself properly in any setting that involves meals. A gentleman will be familiar with the fundamentals of utensil etiquette and other important table manners, especially in formal settings.
18. Offer their arm to a woman when walking.
A real gentleman would never let a woman go on a solo walk. A true gentleman will extend his arm to a woman as a sign of unity and support. Additionally, it demonstrates intimacy and love for the woman.
19. Make sure you got home OK.
Think about it: He wouldn’t wait three days to call you. He’s checking to see if you’re at home and secure by calling or sending you a quick text. Oh, and since those places are dangerous, he also accompanied you to your car in the shadowy structure or the dark parking lot.
20. Walk closer to the curb.
A gentleman would always ensure that he is the one who walks closest to the curb when on the sidewalk. This is a protective strategy to shield the women from the risks and dangers associated with using the exposed section of the sidewalk.
Real gentlemen walk close to the curb and place themselves between a woman and any potential risk.
21. Assist those who are carrying baggage.
When a gentleman sees someone else—a man, a woman, a child, or an elderly person—struggling with something heavy, they lend a hand. It might be in your building’s stairway, an airport, or a train station. Wherever. Simply stop what you’re doing (and what you’re carrying) and ask if they need any help.
22. They do not hit women.
The duty of a gentleman is to defend ladies, even at the price of their own lives. A gentleman would never harm a lady. This is only an exception if a woman is attempting to murder an innocent person. A man should never hit a lady out of rage unless the situation is dire.
23. Reject violence against women.
Understanding that women should never suffer bodily injury at the hands of other people is among the most crucial qualities of a true gentleman. A gentleman will always view violence against women as immoral.
24. They are honest.
True gentleman don’t lie. The world’s most virtuous men do not engage in the practice of deceiving others for their own benefit. They never feel at ease using falsehoods and deception to manipulate others.
25. They won’t play games with you.
A true gentleman won’t dodge the issue. He will let you know whether he likes you. He exudes confidence, and you know he will make an effort to gain your affection. He will kindly explain it to you if he doesn’t like you.
